Retina and uveitis

Our specialties include the diagnosis and treatment of issues relating to the following areas:

Retina: The retina is the light-sensitive layer of tissue that lines the inside of the eye and sends visual messages through the optic nerve to the brain. When the retina becomes damaged or diseased, vision loss could occur.

Uveitis: Uveitis is a condition relating to inflammation in the eye, specifically, the middle layer of the eyeball. This layer called the uvea, has many blood vessels that nourish the eye. Uveitis can damage these blood vessels, leading to vision loss.
